The 2003-P First Flight Commemorative Silver Dollar was issued to celebrate the Wright Brothers' first successful flight on a controllable airplane on December 17, 1903. This coin has the "P" mintmark and arrives in BU condition.

  • The obverse design features the side profiles of Orville & Wilber Wright. It also contains the inscriptions, "Liberty, In God We Trust, 1903, 2003, Orville & Wilbur Wright."
  • The reverse design features the Kitty Hawk Flyer, which made the first powered flight. It also contains the inscription "One Dollar, E Pluribus Unum, United States of America."
