Description

The Silver Koala dates back to 2007, which is when Perth Mint issued the first coin of this series. It wasn’t until 2008 that Perth Mint issued a one-kilo Koala coin. Since then, the sequence of coins has been minted in both 1 oz. and 1-kilo by Perth Mint annually.

• 0.9999 of Silver
• The Obverse shows a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II facing right. The rim of the coin has the words ” Elizabeth II”, ” Australia” and the denomination of 30 Dollars.
• The Reverse shows a Koala, a new design  for 2021. THe 2021 coin shows a Koala sleeping in a tree with branches. The words “AUSTRALIAN KOALA” are inscribed on top of the Koala. The image for Perth Mint mintmark, which is a “P” is also seen here. Along the bottom of the rim is the words “2021 1oz 0.9999 SILVER”
