The Quarter Eagle made its debut in 1796 and the Indian version of this great American coin was introduced in 1908. It's last year of production was 1929. Designed by sculptor Bela Lyon Pratt, the Indian Head Quarter Eagle was considered the most beautiful coins ever designed. It's incused design was a bit controversial at the time, but over the years the Indian Head Quarter Eagle has become an all-time favorite of numismatic collectors.
